Europe's four most agile sports cars found post-war replicas: the Alfa Romeo 6C 1750 in the form of the 1750 4R and the Leontina, the Sbarro BMW Replica 328 was created in Switzerland, the Bugatti 55 became the Stimula 55 or De la Chapelle and the SS Jaguar 100 became the Panther J 72. The manufacturer was Panther Westwinds Ltd. in Weybridge, Surrey, owned by car enthusiast Robert Jankel.
