There have been around 10,000 car brands and designers - most of which have disappeared. One of these vanished brands is Panther, which introduced the Panther J 72 in 1972. It was a post-war replica of the SS Jaguar 100. Panther produced other models such as the De Ville and the Lima until the brand was sold to various Korean companies.
