Dorotheum was able to offer a wide range of items on August 29, 2020 in Vösendorf/Wein from 15:00. 71 vehicles, a seventh of which were on two or three wheels, went under the hammer. Bidders wearing masks on site and via telephone calls ensured a sales rate of over 95 percent and bids that often exceeded expectations. Dorotheum was able to offer a wide range of items on August 29, 2020 in Vösendorf/Wein from 15:00. 71 vehicles, a seventh of which were on two or three wheels, went under the hammer. A select group of interested parties with masks were able to bid on site, others by telephone or via pre-bid. The total value of the vehicles amounted to around EUR 3.85 million; on average, the cars/motorcycles and tricycles were 55.3 years old. As many as 15 vehicles were from the pre-war era, and around 31 percent were sold without a minimum bid. Only three cars could not be sold, two of which were Mercedes-Benz products.
