The Lägern Classic took place for the eighth time on September 7, 2025 in Würenlos. As in previous years, the event was held at the Huba Control site. The first arrivals requested admission shortly before eight o'clock and the influx was not to dry up until the afternoon.
In the end, Dino Graf from the organizing association Lägern Classic was able to announce over 1000 participating vehicles and around 5000 visitors.
Despite the occasionally heavy rush at the entrance control, the organization's traffic and parking management proved its worth. There was a place for every classic car.
Old and youngtimers
Typical of the Lägern Classic is its openness to younger vehicles built up to 2005. This means that youngtimers are also admitted and this is obviously a need.
Whether BMW E30, Peugeot 205 GTI or Ferrari 348 tb, the spectrum of younger cars was also wide at this year's Lägern Classic.
The Lägern Classic is clearly a cross-generational event. And it was not at all uncommon to see a grandfather with his grandson in an old car. And the youngster's eyes shone almost more than the senior's
Variety
In any case, there was no shortage of variety.
Although cars from the sixties to nineties dominated, pre-war vehicles were also on display and even small and very small series cars could be admired.
American and German cars were very well represented, but there were also many cars from Italy and Great Britain to admire.
There were also many Japanese classics on display and even cars from Spanish, Swedish and Eastern European manufacturers could be spotted.
With Cruise
For all those who didn't just want to park their car, the "Lägern Cruise" through the surrounding area was organized as every year, invented during the Corona period when people were not allowed to meet regularly in one place.
And of course, entertainment was also provided, with music and a wide variety of food.
Socializing was a top priority
Above all, however, this popular event was once again a great opportunity to meet like-minded people, old friends and colleagues or simply to make new acquaintances.
