Triumph TR2 - England's automobile trump card
Summary
Many memories of a fortnight's drive through Germany in a 'Triumph TR 2' remain vivid: the deep, powerful roar when the two-liter engine exceeds 2000 rpm; the astonished faces in the rear-view mirror when driving through towns; the pressure on the back when the accelerator pedal is depressed - even at 130 km/h; and a speed on the autobahn that very few other cars can achieve. This is a car that delights the heart and satisfies the sense of self! A car in which two people can travel quickly and safely. The Hobby report from 1955 is one of the first published driving experiences in German.

Ltd. in Coventry, England, and contains many components that are already manufactured for other car types. The TR 2 is one of the cheapest English sports cars: the basic price in England is 625 pounds, which is 9975 DM here in Germany.
