Summary
The Porsche 911 with the 2.4-liter engine was only built for two years. As before, they were available as a T, E or S model in three performance levels. Even the cheapest model offered a lot of driving fun and good everyday characteristics and was the most ordered 911 version with almost 4000 carburetor versions produced. This vehicle report takes a closer look at the special features of the 911 T and its siblings and portrays a 911 T 2.4 from 1972 in an up-to-date version, supplemented by historical images and sales documents from the time.

However, the company did not want to impose less power on sports car buyers, so it increased the engine capacity, which actually meant an increase in performance.
