In 2001, two new Italian cars were presented, including the Fiat Stilo and the Lamborghini Murciélago. One of the very few things the two had in common was the year of their premiere. We'll leave the Turin model to one side for now and take the bull from Sant'Agata, which has long since matured into a neo-classic, by the horns. The Spanish word "Murciélago" translates as "bat", but was also the name of a Spanish fighting bull bred by Joaquín del Val de Navarra. Lamborghini, the brand with the bull in the company logo, already had a long tradition of naming models after fighting bulls or their breeders.
