The Espada is undoubtedly original, indeed exceptional in every respect. Firstly, of course, because a four-seater with such performance is a rarity. But mainly because of its bodywork, which can be described as a unique masterpiece in terms of its lines and successful proportions. By the way, what do you think of the Fiat Dino Coupé? It's a beautiful car, not at all old-fashioned, is it? ... Well, I happened to park the Espada next to such a Dino and to my utter astonishment I realized that the Lamborghini was 13 cm lower. The clarity of this design practically puts Bertone among the architects. If Farina is called the da Vinci of coachbuilders, I would like to call Bertone the Mies van der Rohe of this genre.
