The Ferrari 330 GTC Zagato somehow didn't quite fit in with the times. Perhaps it was because its chassis was already seven years old when the Zagato special body was shown at the 1974 Geneva Motor Show. Or perhaps it was the unorthodox lines. The chassis of the Ferrari 330 GTC provided the coachbuilders at Zagato with a strong basis. The 330 GTC coupé, designed by Pininfarina, was launched at the 1966 Geneva Motor Show, filling the gap between the two-seater 275 GTB high-performance coupé and the four-seater 330 GT. It also replaced the 250 GT Lusso, production of which had already ended in 1964.
