At the Geneva Motor Show in March 1962, a visibly proud Nuccio Bertone presented the Ferrari 250 GT SWB Berlinetta Speciale to the public. Giugiaro had created a masterpiece and the one-off is certainly one of the most valuable Ferrari sports cars of all time. It is considered an automotive design masterpiece, the Ferrari 250 GT SWB Berlinetta Speciale from 1962, created exactly once in the Carrozzeria Bertone, drawn by the young designer Giorgetto Giugiaro. Nuccio Bertone was born in 1914 and, after completing his studies, joined his father's company to develop the coachbuilding business to new heights. At the same time, he also took part in car races, including the Mille Miglia in 1950 and 1951 in a Ferrari 166 MM. Things were not always good for Carrozzeria Bertone, but Nuccio managed to achieve worldwide fame and access to major coachbuilding contracts with some bold designs, including the BAT creations based on Alfa Romeo.
