Summary
Erich Bitter was no stranger when he launched his CD Diplomat luxury sports car in 1973. He had cleverly motivated two quality partners to work together and so the Bitter CD was created as a hybrid of American-German technology and Swabian bodywork craftsmanship. The owners loved it, and as a classic car it is a sought-after classic. This driving report portrays the Bitter CD, shows it in current and historical pictures and also includes sales literature and sound samples.

But back in the sixties and seventies, many things were different and many things were possible, so let's take a look back.
