Programmable ignition systems for classic cars have been around for some time. But now "1-2-3-Ignition" goes one step further, because the latest version of the completely electronic ignition system can be set and programmed via smartphone and without cables.
With a lot of experience
First came the 123-Ignition with 16 different pre-programmed ignition curves.
Then came the next evolutionary stage. The 123-Ignition was freely programmable; a USB plug from the laptop to the ignition system and you were ready to start fine-tuning. The largely classic look has always concealed ultra-modern Formula 1 electronics. The system literally monitors every single working cycle of every single cylinder with every revolution. Mechanical deficits, such as different compression ratios, are compensated for by so-called "spark balancing". The engine runs smoother and more smoothly.
Control and adjust via iPhone
The new Bluetooth models from 123-Ignition can be controlled conveniently and precisely from a smartphone or tablet PC using a free iOS app (Android available from August).

The work of the engine can be influenced while driving, i.e. when you really notice whether the settings improve or worsen the running behavior of the engine.
The manufacturer and distributor cite the following advantages
- the classic look is retained
- Crisp spark even at the lowest engine speed, strong ignition spark
- ignition timing any length after TDC
- Adjustable speed limiter
- replaces left and right turning distributors
- simple installation
- virtually maintenance-free
- Spark-balancing from Formula 1
- for plus or minus to ground
- can solve the "Weber carburetor problem" if the vacuum is lost when the throttle valve is suddenly opened
- Vacuum connection with programmable characteristic curve for adaptation to modified carburetor
- New: programmable electronic immobilizer
The innovative ignition system is available from Limora, but of course also from 1-2-3-Ignition Germany or the sales partner in Switzerland.
