The cars with the famous Dino V6 engine and its successor, the Dino 308 GT4, are among the most beautiful and desirable sports cars in automotive history.
During an extended weekend this June, friends of the "Dino" brand will meet at Lake Silvaplana at the foot of the Corvatsch. An exciting program with rides and Engadin experiences awaits the enthusiasts.
In cooperation with the municipality and tourism of Silvaplana and the Club Dino Italia, all owners who own a Dino model are invited to the international Dino Meeting. The following models are addressed:

Silvaplana Tourism, the organizers Walter Scudeletti, Filippo Gamba from Club Dino Italia and Daniel Bosshard, Mayor of Silvaplana, are looking forward to welcoming as many participants as possible from near and far. They are proud of the participation of the "Dino Pope" Matthias Bartz.
Silvaplana Tourism has been using fully electric vehicles from Opel Switzerland for some time now. The aim is to demonstrate ways to ensure a sustainable future.
The annual event is intended to celebrate nostalgia and the future together. All participants gain insights into the past and the modern future of the automobile. With this event, Silvaplana aims to highlight and develop the automotive history of the Julier Pass and the mobile future.
This event is intended to open up a new sector in tourism and increase added value in June. Hotels and vacation apartments will play an active role in shaping the event as "hosting partners".
A small "Dino Museum" will show the history of the automobile era. Nostalgia and classic car enthusiasts will experience an attractive program during the long weekend in Silvaplana and the Engadin.
Silvaplana and the canton of Graubünden have an automobile history that began comparatively late. Until 1925, it was forbidden to drive a car in the canton of Graubünden. All other cantons in Switzerland had long since accepted the automobile as a useful means of transportation.
Due to the strong "stagecoach lobby", the Plazza dal Güglia [Silvaplana village square], for example, was given a servitude. This was also intended to prevent a petrol station from being built in the village. This was a landmark, because after the construction of the Silvaplana bypass four years ago, the village square "Plazza dal Güglia" in Silvaplana invites you to linger and stroll.
During the international Dino Meeting, locals and guests will have the opportunity to marvel at the beautiful "Dinos" on the village square.
At the Swiss Classic World in Lucerne, Silvaplana Tourism and the Club Dino Italia will be present with their own stand in Hall 1, Stand 158.
