You may have already heard of the Autovision Museum. There are always extraordinary vehicle and technology exhibitions to admire there. The museum in Altlussheim (near Hockenheim) invites you to explore the past of mobility and the history of today's vehicles.
Starting with Karl Drais' running machine 200 years ago and ending with the hydrogen car in 2050, three centuries of vehicle development are documented in six exhibition areas using exhibits, some of which are unique.
The world's first five automobiles are presented in a new special exhibition. Never before have the first electric car (1881), the first steam car (1883), the first petrol car (1886), the first four-wheel car (1889) and the first production car (1894) been shown side by side in one exhibition.
The Autovision Museum is itself the owner of the first electric car and was able to stage this world premiere thanks to loans from the German Museum of Technology in Berlin and the Mercedes Benz Museum in Stuttgart.
The special exhibition "The first 5 cars in the world" has been on display at the Museum Autovision Altlussheim since October 20, 2016. Further information can be found on the official website.
