When we had to cancel our spring Veterama in 2020, the organizers of the large parts market were firmly convinced that this corona spook would be over by the autumn Veterama 2020.
When our traditional date on the second weekend in October was also canceled due to the coronavirus, all that remained was hope for the new year 2021.
But things didn't get better, or not quickly enough. Although the registration documents for the Veterama events in Hockenheim and Mannheim were sent out optimistically, a difficult decision was ultimately made again.
But according to all the information received so far from the responsible authorities and the resolutions of the federal-state conference on March 3, permits for major events are not to be expected this spring either. According to official information from the authorities, a decision on the approval of Veterama Hockenheim is not expected before March 23.
It is therefore with great regret that the spring Veterama from April 23 to 25, 2021 at the Hockenheimring must now also be canceled.
The Seidel family hopes that all the conditions for a major international event will now be in place again in October and that there will then also be another cult Veterama on the 2nd weekend in October (October 8-10).
Further information can be found on the Veterama website.
