Spring is approaching and car insiders know it: The garage doors are opening, the engines are starting and the first big meeting of the year is coming up. The season opener will take place on March 23, 2025 from 11:00 to 17:00 at Motorworld Region Stuttgart. Visitors can look forward to a day full of driving culture, discussions and exciting road stories. As in previous years, the public can vote in advance on which vehicles they would like to see in the show parking lot.
Every year, the Motorworld season opener unites passion and community in a unique way: friends of the sports car, classic car, motorcycle and tuning scene come together here. Visitors can expect a colorful mix of classic and modern classics, motorcycles, sports cars and supercars. Numerous exhibitors present vehicles, products and services related to mobility on a dealer mile. Delicacies from various food trucks and various children's attractions round off the program.
As a highlight, Audi Stuttgart will be presenting the Audi S1 Hoonitron, in which US drift star Ken Block drifted through the streets, casinos and parking garages of Las Vegas for the "Electrikhana" film. Visually, the electrically powered one-off is modeled on the legendary Audi Sport quattro S1, while technically it combines the highlights of Audi's electric drives from mass production and motorsport.
Other exhibitors include Mechatronik with individual vehicle concepts, H&R with suspensions that turn every bend into an experience and Edelweiss with rims that transform ordinary cars into real sculptures. ABT and Saker Sportscars will also be on site with their racing team. The car manufacturer Genesis will be offering test drives in the brand's latest models.
Public voting for the show parking lot
Special visitor vehicles that impress with their history, design or power are allowed to park in the show parking lot. Anyone wishing to park their classic car, youngtimer, sports car or supercar in the show parking lot in front of Motorworld must first reserve a space in the online ticket store for 15 euros per vehicle. As demand is greater than supply, the spaces are allocated by means of online voting, in which every visitor to the website can select their preferred vehicles.
In addition to the show parking lot, Motorworld has sufficient parking spaces available for five euros per vehicle in the visitor parking lot on the Marktkauf site. A chargeable shuttle bus runs regularly from there. All parking and shuttle tickets can be booked in advance in the online ticket store.
