Some events become institutions over time. For the 23rd time, around 150 vehicles will cruise through the Free State of Saxony on August 14 and 15, 2026.
The start and finish are in beautiful Dresden; the route passes through the Eastern Ore Mountains, Altenberg, Glashütte, the Zittau Mountains, and the Elbe Sandstone Mountains—and even briefly crosses the Czech border to the Autodrom in Most. No other classic car rally attracts as many spectators to the route as the Sachsen Classic.
Two days, unforgettable moments
On Friday, August 14, the route begins at Ferrari Dresden Thomas Sportwagen and combines the thrill of motorsports with cultural delights: The Veterani Muzeum Litvínov in the Czech Republic is the first highlight—before the Most racetrack delivers a sporting adrenaline rush with a special stage on the driver safety course.
The journey continues to the Altenberg bobsled track and the Glashütte Watch Museum, a place that captures the essence of the Sachsen Classic Spirit: precision craftsmanship, a passion for technology, and an eye for the extraordinary. The evening belongs to Zeitenströmung—our rally home base in a historic vehicle hall. A place where the route becomes a community.
Saturday, August 15, showcases Saxony at its best: the route leads through the historic market square in Stolpen and Trixi Park to Bad Schandau, Pirna, and the Zimmerling Winery. The finale is sure to be unforgettable: the finish line on the Terrassenufer in Dresden—right in the middle of Germany’s largest city festival.
More than just driving: the supporting program
The Sachsen Classic is an experience even off the track. A picnic in the vineyard in Radebeul, a sundowner with a DJ and cocktails at Ferrari Dresden Thomas Sports Cars—and as a fitting finale, the awards ceremony at the Ostradom, with an aperitif on Lake Ostrasee in a location that lends the finale a unique splendor.
