One might joke that the Stuttgart Retro Classics was already an adult long before it came of age. The internationally renowned classic car trade fair has been firmly established in the calendar of classic and modern car enthusiasts for years. Enthusiasts, collectors and dealers from all over the world meet in Stuttgart.
For the 18th time
From 22 to 25 March 2018, "die Retro" will open its doors for the 18th time - and come up with a gigantic superlative: For the first time, the new Paul Horn Hall (Hall 10), the Mercedes-Benz Hall of Retro Classics, will be used, which will increase the trade fair to an impressive total area of around 140,000 square meters. This makes Retro Classics in Stuttgart the largest classic car fair in the world in terms of floor space.
Already many registrations
"The number of registrations has already exceeded that of previous years," says Karl Ulrich Herrmann, initiator and organizer of the successful project. "Thanks to the addition of an extra hall, we can meet this enormous demand. We are expecting an increase of up to 150 exhibitors and 300 to 400 vehicles."
Visitors to Retro Classics 2018 can expect to see a total of around 4,000 exhibits - from pre-war classics to gleaming chrome US cars and historic commercial vehicles through to classy neo-classics, youngtimers and motorcycles.
Again with Italy hall
One of the highlights is a visit to Italy Hall 7.
There, technical sophistication and typical Italian flair will merge, for example in the AMSC exhibition of rare Italian two-wheelers.
In addition to generous presentations of the Mercedes-Benz brand, the new Hall 10 attracts visitors with the special shows "SK Oldtimer Collection" and "50 Years of Irmscher Automobilbau".
Setting new standards
Retro Classics also offers a huge range of parts, accessories, accessories, insurance services - and even a one-day registration if required!
With the 2018 edition of Retro Classics, Herrmann wants to set "new standards" once again. However, he is "not just interested in sheer size, but in stable growth based on quality. A leading trade fair like Retro Classics must constantly reinvent itself and surprise its visitors time and again. I hope that we succeed in doing this again this time - and I am looking forward to the world's largest classic car trade fair, here in Stuttgart!"
Further information is of course available on the Retro Classics Stuttgart website.
