When the garage and hall doors are opened in Stuttgart and the favorites on wheels are brought out into the light and onto the road, the 23rd edition of Retro Classics starts: Curtain up for the trade fair for driving culture, where all lovers of beautiful cars and motorcycles will get their money's worth from April 25 to 28, 2024.
Unbroken passion for everything on wheels - the scene is alive and well
The scene and combustion engines are alive - and kicking! From the "shot glass class" to heavy-duty tractors, the driving culture scene is active and indulges in one of the most beautiful pastimes in the world, the classic car hobby. Both the scene and the industry are booming, with all events reporting record attendance and satisfied participants. Nothing can replace personal encounters and the corresponding networking, only more encounters, such as those offered by the trade fair for driving culture, the Stuttgart Retro Classics.
Legitimate size, celebrated diversity and pure emotion
Following the great success in spring 2023 with more than 85,000 visitors, the 23rd edition of Retro Classics from 25-28 April 2024 will once again offer a wide variety of vehicles and arouse emotions: From the nursery of mobility, the cradle of the automobile and the "riding car" to pre-war classics, old and youngtimers and exclusive neoclassics, everything will be there; this applies equally to scooters, US cars and historic commercial vehicles - From "A" for Allgaier and "M" for Manta to "Z" for Zündapp, Retro Classics Stuttgart brings the international scene together and confirms its reputation as the trade fair for driving culture! And: It awakens emotions and fond memories - the first car, the moped from your youth, the long-sought brochure for the vehicle.... .
Lower, wider, faster - the tuning icons of the 80s and 90s
Individuality is the name of the game. This zeitgeist characterized the 1980s and 90s in particular, when there seemed to be no limits to automotive individuality: Widened bodies in the "Testarossa look", sweeping front and rear spoilers and mostly garish effect paintwork turned bland, off-the-peg everyday vehicles into veritable birds of paradise.
No one was spared, whether from VW, Opel, Mercedes, BMW, Porsche or Ferrari, they were all unrecognizable after a "customization cure".
The large special show "Lower, wider, faster - the tuning icons of the 80s and 90s" at Retro Classics 2024 takes visitors on a journey through time and shows that (almost) anything was possible back then. You can look forward to this and other unique special shows, which we will inform you about shortly.
