It is without doubt one of the most exciting collections to come onto the market in recent years, RM Sotheby's announces in the announcement. And indeed, the "Tailored for Speed Collection" is an extraordinary compilation of modern super and hyper sports cars, racing cars and classics.
On October 11, 2025, this collection of 42 cars with an estimated value of CHF 57.14 million will go under the hammer at the Dolder Grand Hotel in Zurich.
The average age of the cars is just 15 years, and 60% of the cars, which cost an average of CHF 1.36 million, will be offered without a reserve price, which is certainly exceptional.
33 Ferrari
Most of the cars on offer have a Ferrari horse on the front.
On average, the Ferraris are also significantly older (19 years) than the rest of the range, which consists of three Pagani, two Lamborghini, two Mercedes-AMG and one Bentley and Bugatti each.
13 classic cars or youngtimers
Only 30% of the cars on offer are already vintage or classic cars, they all come from the manufacturer Ferrari and they cover a considerable spectrum.
With a 365 GT 2+2 from 1968 and two Ferrari 400/412s, there are three four-seaters on offer. They are on offer for between CHF 50,000 and CHF 200,000.
One of the most sought-after super classics is certainly the 1973 Daytona, which was moderately estimated at CHF 350,000 to 400,000.
A 512 BB represented the Berlinetta Boxer era, this 1978 example is expected to find a new owner for CHF 150,000 to 200,000.
The Testarossa from 1987, still equipped with central hubs, which RM wants to sell for CHF 90,000 to 110,000, is certainly also of interest.
However, the showpiece among the classic Ferrari sports cars is certainly the F40 from 1989, which still comes without a catalytic converter and unadulterated, but is also expected to cost CHF 2.2 to 2.4 million.
The Ferrari 333 SP
The most expensive car in the collection, however, is a 333 SP racing car from 1998, one of 40 built and a successful one at that. Chassis 023 won the Sports Racing World Cup races in Monza and Barcelona in 1999 and helped to win the title with further podium finishes.
Completely restored and Ferrari-certified, the racing car is now expected to cost CHF 4.5 to 5 million.
Expensive young and special cars
Ten other cars in the collection were valued higher than the F40, but all of them built between 2008 and 2024 will go under the hammer.
These include three FXX models from Ferrari, which are designed for racetrack use, as well as a Ferrari Daytona SP3 from 2024, a LaFerrari Aperta from 2017 and three Pagani.
CHF 3 to 3.5 million is expected for the Bugatti Chiron Super Sport from 2023, which is also on offer.
Some affordable cars, all with no reserve price
There will also be some cheaper cars for sale at the Dolder Grand Hotel, even with Ferrari horses.
In addition to the two 400/412 variants already mentioned, a Ferrari 360 Modena from 2000 and a 360 Spider from 2004 will also go under the hammer, both expected to cost between CHF 60,000 and 90,000.
Under or around a quarter of a million, there is a Bentley Continental GT3R from 2016, a Ferrari 360 Challenge Stradale from 2004 or a Ferrari GTC4Lusso from 2018, among others.
If you want to bid on October 11, 2025 at the posh hotel on the Zürichberg, you should certainly bring a big wallet, but the offer is also brimming with rare and exceptional vehicles.
