On June 16, 2018, the Porsche Treffen Mollis will take place for the second time. The Porsche Club Glarnerland and Porsche Schweiz AG had already organized a Switzerland-wide Porsche meeting for Porsche drivers, fans and enthusiasts in June 2016, which is now entering its second round. Around 1000 Porsche vehicles of all generations are expected at the Mollis airfield.
With beauty contest
The highlights of the meeting are a Concours d'Élégance and the award ceremony of the Porsche Classic Restoration Challenge, in which four
Porsche Centers competed against each other in the restoration of a historic vehicle.
Some historic vehicles from the Porsche Museum and current vehicles from the Porsche Exclusive Manufaktur are also on display. The gems from the Porsche Museum include a Porsche 356 A 1600 Super Speedster from 1958, a Porsche 911 2.0 Coupé from 1965, a Porsche 911 Carrera 3.2 Coupé from 1989 and the special models Porsche 911 Carrera Coupé "40 Years Porsche 911" from 2003 and Porsche 911 Carrera "50 Years Porsche 911" from 2013.
E-Porsche too
In the anniversary year of "70 years of Porsche sports cars", these vehicles represent a beautiful line of Porsche history. Another highlight from motorsport is the Porsche 919 Hybrid, which raced in Bahrain in 2017. The Mission E concept car, the first purely electrically powered sports car to be launched on the market in 2019, offers a glimpse into the future.
For young and old
There is also an attractive program for younger visitors. Various partners will be on site with their own stands and attractions. Every hour on the hour, there will be a program on the main stage on various Porsche-related topics.
Porsche vehicles from visitors to the Porsche Treff can be parked on the "Porscheplatz", sorted by model series and year, with the appropriate registration, and thus form a huge Porsche collection that invites guests to marvel. The number of parking spaces on the "Porscheplatz" is limited, so early registration is required on the event website, which also provides further information about the meeting. at
A separate parking area is available for non-Porsche drivers and visitors.
