From July 4 to 6, Einbeck will be transformed into a paradise for classic car fans: the PS.Speicher is celebrating its eleventh birthday - and together with the town is inviting visitors to the Einbecker Oldtimertage. Visitors can experience the city center and the museum in the spirit of historic mobility - with classic cars, live music, presentations and many other highlights.
Three-day program
The festivities start on Friday evening: The FörderFreunde PS.Speicher e. V. invite you to the PS.Halle from 19:00. There, mechanical engineer and classic car enthusiast Ronald Genßler will present his extraordinary project: the faithful replica of the fictitious Amalfi CS 1800 breakdown car - a vehicle that enjoys cult status in the scene.
Saturday: rally, stage and stories on wheels
From 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, around 220 historic vehicles from 1917 to 1994 will be rolling through Einbeck and the region at the PS.Speicher Rallye. Each one tells a personal, often emotional story. The PS.Speicher presentation team brings these stories to the stage and provides exciting insights into the vehicle histories.
This year's rally route leads through the Holzminden district to the "Bilster Berg" race track, where the lunch break will take place in a closed circle.
The Einbecker Automobilclub (EAC) organizes the special stages together with regional partners and ensures that everything runs smoothly. Car dealerships such as Hermann, Hübner and Siebrecht also actively support the event.

City center included
A real innovation: the rally vehicles will arrive at the market square in Einbeck. "We are delighted to actively involve the town center this year - previously the tour ended directly at the museum," says Anika Schmitt, Head of Communications at PS.Speicher. Presenter Andy Schwietzer, known as a motoring journalist and curator for motorcycles and small cars at PS.Speicher, will lead the arrival live.
Enjoyment, music and atmosphere in the city center
Between 10:00 and 15:00, musician Andreas Leinemann will provide musical entertainment on the marketplace stage. The surrounding restaurants such as Brodhaus, Flores, Dolomiti, MP23 and the coffee roastery as well as Manfred Breitzke's barbecue station will spoil guests with culinary delicacies and invite them to linger. Classic car enthusiasts can obtain exclusive information on historic vehicles at the "Classic-Wheels" stand. Information stands, a crêpes cart, a children's carousel and a dart throwing stand round off the offer - the traditional mobility mile is no longer available.
There is also a program for families: In Marktstraße, Tiny Moos is organizing a children's flea market from 11:00 to 15:00. Along Tiedexer Straße, local residents such as Fotogen, the Newcomer Art Lounge from KWS, the Einbeck Donation Team (in the rooms of the "Bürgerliste Gemeinsam für Einbeck") and the Backpackers Inn will be taking part and creating a lively link to the PS.Speicher.
"The Classic Car Days will once again be a highlight in Einbeck's calendar of events - with offers that will not only delight fans of historic mobility," emphasizes Kay Weseloh from Einbeck Marketing.
Another highlight on Saturday afternoon is the unveiling of the so-called "Eulenflitzer". The vehicle from Autohaus Siebrecht is the main prize in this year's raffle at the Owl Festival in October.
Drivers' evening and birthday party on Saturday evening
From 19:00, the rally participants will meet for the drivers' evening. BELMOT, the classic car insurance company Mannheimer Versicherung AG, the vehicle appraisers DAT and Classic Data, the FörderFreunde PS.Speicher e. V. and the ADAC Niedersachsen/Sachsen-Anhalt e. V. support the event as main sponsors.
From 21:00, the band "Cover Club" will rock the stage at PS.Speicher. The musicians will present an energetic live program with classics and hits from several decades.
Traditionally, the PS.Speicher celebrates its birthday at the Einbecker Oldtimertage - now in its eleventh year. Admission to the big party is free.
Sunday: Parade and museum visit
Sunday starts at 11:00 a.m. with the traditional classic car parade through Einbeck. All vehicles built up to 2000 are allowed to take part. The Einbeck police and volunteer bikers will secure the route. The founder couple of PS.Speicher, Gabriele and Karl-Heinz Rehkopf, will also lead the parade in 2025.
Throughout the Einbecker Oldtimertage, PS.Speicher will be selling its supporter pin for five euros. The net proceeds go to the STIFTUNG PS.Speicher foundation. The pin has now achieved real collector status. PS.Speicher is once again using the "color of the year" for the design. This time it is "Mocha Mousse", a shade of brown.
The PS.Speicher and the motorcycle, automobile, small car and truck + bus collections will open their doors on Saturday and Sunday between 10:00 and 18:00. Public guided tours through the "treasure chamber" of the PS.Speicher will take place on Saturday at 11:00 am and on Sunday at 11:00 am.
