For the first time, Shelby cars were to meet in Europe on the famous Montlhéry racetrack near Paris to celebrate the 60th anniversary of the Shelby company. Over 120 Shelby cars from 1962 to 2022 were expected to attend, including such famous cars as the Ford GT40, the Cobra Daytona, the Shelby 289/289 Cobra, the Shelby GT350 (Mustang), the Dodge Omni Shelby, the Sunbeam Tiger and other classics associated with Carroll Shelby from 1962 to 2022.

The cars should drive on the race track as well as on the still usable parts of the high-speed circuit.
... and standing
Of course, the cars and special exhibition vehicles could also have been viewed in detail in the pits and standing. Specialized dealers and automotive suppliers would also have been on site. But it was not to be!
Unfortunately, the event had to be canceled in the meantime because not enough interesting cars were registered and apparently because the event was boycotted by French clubs and Shelby representatives. Further information can be found on the website of the international meeting.
