Almost anyone can do it in summer, but when it gets colder, foggier and windier, only the die-hard classic car fans come out of the garage. When our classic cars were built, winters were even harsher than they are today. In 2017, the International Winter Rally of the Oldtimerland Bodensee will take place on March 11 and 12.
The rally is the joint effort of eighteen clubs, companies and towns that offer the classic car community a sporty and fun get-together, even in winter. The special stages are designed to be fun, but just as important is the camaraderie with the participants, and for the winning team the right to call itself the "Capital of Oldtimerland Bodensee" for a year.
