The cancellations came step by step, event date by event date. Now Robi Hümbeli has finally had to pull the plug, at least for 2021. The last meeting in the bull stables, planned for September 12, 2021, cannot be held either.
Hümbeli comments: "With a heavy heart, I unfortunately had to decide to cancel again. It's a difficult position for me, but the constant changes in decisions and the uneven handling from Bern and the various cantons are too uncertain.
I don't want to say much more. It's just sad, as it has hit me and our meeting very hard."
For next year, Hümbeli is trying to work out a new concept with the security department of the canton of Zug that will allow a 3-G version of the popular meeting.
The organizer would like to thank the long-standing friends of the meeting for their good will, loyalty and many offers of support.
Now it's time to look ahead and hope for next year.
