Herbert Müller was one of the fastest Swiss racing drivers of all time. His career began in 1960 and he also wrote international racing history with victories at the Targa Florio (1966, 1973), winning the European Hillclimb Championship (1963) and second place at the 24 Hours of Le Mans in 1971 and 1974. His life ended far too early in a racing accident at the Nürburgring in May 1981, 40 years ago.
In 2021, not only will a comprehensive book be published with the title "Herbert Müller ... alles zu langsam", but his son Daniel Müller will also organize an attractive rally with the title "Memorial Rally "... your trip to Le Mans"".
The program begins on Whit Sunday, 23 May 2021, with the book launch and aperitif/dinner with racing legends.
On Whit Monday, it's off to the classic car rally, which ends with the awards ceremony in the evening. The starting and finishing points are the Forellensee restaurant in Zweisimmen in the canton of Bern.
Very few places have become available at short notice and even hotel allotments, which are rare these days, are still available. It is worth reacting quickly, as the Memorial Rally is one of the few events that can currently take place.
Participation costs CHF 290 per person (without hotel accommodation), including the book vernissage on Sunday evening (23.5.2021, from 16:30), you can register directly online here on the event website.
Of course, you won't miss the RaceCarExhibition at Forellensee, an unforgettable weekend is guaranteed.
