You can count them on one hand, the important regular motorsport events in Switzerland. The GP Mutschellen is one of them. The event will take place for the 9th time on Sunday, April 30, 2023.

Under the motto "Experience motorsport history live", drivers and fans can look forward to over 100 years of motorsport history.
Wide range of vehicles
The more than 300 vehicles include many rarities from days long gone - from pre-war cars from the 1910s to modern sports cars from the modern era.

The special thing about the GP Mutschellen is its proximity to the spectators. The car park invites you to experience the many unique vehicles and motorcycles up close and listen to the exciting discussions between drivers and fans. As in previous years, several thousand spectators are expected. The Porsche Center Zurich will be the main sponsor for the first time.
Synthetic fuel
A few participating vehicles will be fueled with synthetic fuel, proving that it is possible to run old engines on non-fossil fuels without technical modifications. These are almost CO2-neutral. Synfuels and eFuels are the future for all vehicles with combustion engines!
Famous vehicles and former motorsport stars
Ernst Sigg in the legendary Sauber C2, Louis Frey in the martial Gaggenau-Rolls-Royce self-build and Mike Zimmerlin in the prestigious Rob North IMP from 1969: the GP Mutschellen stands for a highly varied field of drivers.
These include the following five highlights in particular: American La France Type 12, built in 1917: this vintage car is 106 years old. Chain drive, wood-spoked wheels, 14,500 cc engine and the high seating position of the driver Ruedi Schawalder create a wonderful picture of the early history of automobile construction in America.
Delahaye 107, built in 1924: With 130 hp and 6200 cc, this car is actually more of a flying box. A chassis, an engine, a driver's seat and a steering wheel have to suffice.
Nissan Skyline R32, built in 1991: Florian Weidmann and his drift car provide a show with plenty of thrills.
Honda CR 350, built in 1974: Watch out for girl power! The motorcycle is a former racing machine from Bruno Kneubühler and is now in the female hands of Erika Elsener.
Allard J2 Cadillac, built in 1951: Top-class, very rare racing car from Sydney Allard, of which only 90 were built and which was used on all the famous circuits. The English brand Allard existed from 1946 to 1966.
The hot rods - cult cars from California
Who doesn't know them from classic films such as American Graffiti, Grease or Thunder Road? Hot rods originated in sunny California back in the 1930s. The quirky, often colorful and chrome-adorned hot rods will be making their first appearance at the GP Mutschellen this year.
100-year-old car drives in the regional group
Traditionally, classic cars and motorcycles from the region curve their way up the Friedlisberg at the Grand Prix. Porsche, Ducati, Aston Martin - the list of unique vehicles such as the 1923 Citroën C HP5 is over 40 exciting entries long. The vehicles from the regional group are a welcome change. For once, the focus is less on horsepower and racing feeling and all the more on originality and charm.
