The Lignières Historique Festival from September 15 - 17, 2023 will not take place. The organizing committee very much regrets this cancellation. After the third and final edition in 2015, many inquiries were received asking when the next Lignières Historique would take place. However, eight years have passed since then and it seems that no one was expecting a new edition of the festival. According to the organizing committee, this aspect was perhaps given too little consideration when planning the 2023 festival.
Registrations for the race announcement are well below expectations. Both sponsors and drivers seem to have already made their plans without a Lignières Historique 2023. Even the historic circuit, on which many celebrities have already raced, could no longer score enough points.
It's a shame that there was no alternative to canceling due to the poor booking situation. The organizing committee and the TCS would like to thank all those who have supported the Lignières Historique 2023. Information on the future of the Lignières Historique will be provided in due course.
