From now on, "Garagengold" will shine in a new YouTube channel, initially with a new episode twice a week on Tuesdays and Thursdays.
In the short videos, the channel focuses on the most beautiful and fascinating car models of past decades. It's all about stories about cars from perhaps the best era of car manufacturing. Not everything was better in the past, but it was at least more beautiful. The golden pieces of this era, their owners and their stories characterize the character of "Garage Gold". The wide range of topics extends from the simple mechanic to the fine collector's garage to racetrack action. Whether Renault 5 Turbo, Aston Martin DB5, VW Bus and Transporter or Porsche 911 Carrera RSR in Jägermeister livery - the owners of these cars and many more tell what moves them and, above all, how.
Car experts such as Auto-Motor-Und-Sport chief reporter and TV presenter Alexander Bloch and US collector Magnus Walker are always on board. The first episode focuses on Robert Redlich. The "Steelhunter" owns six cars and a good 30 motorcycles. But none of his vehicles look like the exhibits you would expect from a classic car collection. Because all of them are allowed to show that they have "lived". What is scrap for some is just good enough for Robert Redlich. One of his cars is a 1958 VW T1 flatbed that is to be revived.
Will it work and what needs to be done? The answers can be found here on the new YouTube channel.
