After the great success of the first Oldtimer GP Brugger Schachen in 2013, it quickly became clear that this spectacular event would be repeated. Preparations are already underway for the next GP on the circuit in Brugger Schachen.
Large field of participants
Spectators can once again expect a racing spectacle with around 180 historic racing cars this year. The selection of historic rarities is huge, ranging from pre-war racing cars from 1915 to modern racing cars. Motorcycles and sidecars from the past will not be missed either. All participants and their vehicles will be visible online after the registration deadline.
Good location, interesting route
The GP Brugger Schachen takes place on the circuit in Brugger Schachen (for exact details see the organizer's website).
The course is 960m long and largely rectangular in shape. There is no timekeeping and no ranking list is kept. The speed of the field will be adjusted to the respective classes by a lead vehicle.
Information for spectators
The Oldtimer GP Brugger Schachen starts at 09:00 in the morning and officially runs until 17:00 in the evening. Admission, including the program booklet, costs CHF 12 for adults; children up to the age of 16 are admitted free of charge.
The best way to get there is to take Ländistrasse in Brugg, from there everything is signposted.
A speaker will provide live information about the event and a program booklet will provide interesting information about the participants. If you fancy meeting the drivers and their teams in person, you can visit the public paddock to have a chat or two. This is also possible at the festival restaurant and the various catering stands or at the Cüplibar, where you can take care of your physical well-being.
Registration deadline and further information
The closing date for registration is March 20, 2015 and further information will be available on the event website.
