Since August 2024, the Science and Technology Museum in Dnipro has been showing an extraordinary installation entitled "(un)BROKEN".
The Dnipro Science and Technology Museum "Time Machines" ("Технічний музей "Машини Часу"" has around 5000 exhibits, including more than 100 devices/vehicles from the past: Cars, motorcycles, etc.
In the ten years of its existence, the museum has shown many exhibitions, carried out many cultural projects, exhibitions and events, introduced VR technologies and digital interactivity. All the museum's projects are current and relevant.
Since the Russian Federation invaded Ukraine in February 2022, the country has been at war, effectively the largest war in Europe since the end of the Second World War.
The museum strives to continue its work despite the constant threat of air strikes by presenting new projects and exhibitions dedicated to the resilience of the Ukrainian people and collecting exhibits resulting from the Russian aggressors' missile attacks on civilian objects in the city of Dnipro.
One of the latest cultural projects prepared and implemented in the Museum of "Time Machines" was the thematic installation "(Un)BROKEN".
The central exhibit of this installation is a Ukrainian passenger car that stood in the courtyard of a residential building in the center of Dnipro and was destroyed by a Russian missile on April 19, 2024.
