The wording of the email from Goodwood regarding the Members Meeting on March 28 and 29, 2020, which has just reached us, reads:
In light of the increasing concern over the rapid spread of the coronavirus, we would like to inform you of any additional safety measures we are taking to make Goodwood Members Meeting 2020 as safe as possible for everyone.
The precautions taken include:
- Hand sanitizer at each entrance, information stands and all catering areas
- Additional signage hygiene advice
- Treatment centers and isolation facilities
We ask all visitors and participants to refrain from shaking hands when greeting each other.
The Members Meeting is therefore to take place. However, it is to be expected that there will still be changes to the program, as depending on the home country, one or the other team will not be able to travel. It also remains to be seen whether the British government will take similarly drastic measures as many other European governments are currently doing.
Up-to-date information can be found on the Goodwood Member Meeting website.
