The Heidiland Classic has become a fixed date in the diaries of many classic and modern car enthusiasts, not least because of the unique backdrop in and around the Heidiland vacation region and the culinary delights. Added to this is the warm and personal service provided to participants.
The popular rally will take place for the ninth time from June 21 to 23, 2019.
New with three categories
"Sport": The category that challenges the vehicle, driver & also the co-driver
"Classic": The category for beginners and occasional rally participants
"Relax & Drive": The new category without scoring and time pressure for a relaxed drive with a predetermined route
This year's rally ride on Saturday will take you to the breathtaking Grisons mountain region. In addition to cultural questions about the region and exciting scoring posts, the participants will also be required to demonstrate their driving skills.
The classic car meeting with the Prix d'Elégance on Sunday has already become a tradition - everyone who owns a 4, 3 or 2-wheeled classic or modern classic car is invited to drive up to the village square in Bad Ragaz with their "treasure car" from 9am - admission is free. The competent jury will then award the winner of the Prix d'Elégance to the most beautiful, most successful, most special or simply the most original vehicle.
The blues-rock band Vintage Groove will provide the right atmosphere. For the first time, stands with culinary delicacies and a small spare parts market will also be part of the event.
Varied program
Friday afternoon (June 21) starts with registration in the village center of Bad Ragaz, followed by a short rider briefing. The evening ends with an aperitif and "evening feast" in the famous Tamina Gorge in the old Bad Pfäfers.
Saturday marks the start of the rally, again in the village center. The three categories take place throughout the day. Finally, on Sunday, the Prix d'Elégance, as well as the ranking announcement and the award ceremony will take place.
