Brief overview of other series
3-hour ADAC Eifelrennen
3-hour race for touring and sports cars of various displacement classes on the combination of Grand Prix circuit and Nordschleife. GT and touring cars from the Dunlop FHR Endurance Cup and vehicles from the Youngtimer Trophy compete for the championship in the "Green Hell".
Battle of the dwarves
Always a highlight at the ADAC Eifelrennen when the little speedsters up to 1300 cc fight wheel-to-wheel for every centimeter of track, with the vehicles of the Abarth-Coppa-Mille, the British Car Trophy and the NSU TT Trophy also competing for championship points on the Grand Prix circuit.
Graf Berghe von Trips Cup
Formula cars from the 60s and 70s with 1.6 or 2.0 liter engines offer the best formula racing. The series, named after the first German Formula 1 winner, is the longest-running racing series in historic motorsport.
Historic Touring Car and GT Trophy (HTGT)
The main attraction of this racing series is the wide variety of types. From the 700 cc engine in the BMW 700 to cars such as the Ford GT 40 and the Chevrolet Corvette, you can find all variants of touring car and GT racing from this era here. As the overall victories in individual races are naturally often won by the "big" cars, a sophisticated points system ensures that even a Mini driver has a chance of winning the championship.
FHR Vintage Nürburgring (pre-war cars)
They are the true rulers of the "Green Hell": The pre-war vehicles at the Vintage Nürburgring organized by the FHR present themselves with a majestic appearance and fascinating history that is extremely impressive.
Historic F3 1000cc European Trophy
They are small, venomous and make noise for two: the sound of the Formula 3 cars from the 60s is legendary. This year, the 1.0-liter engines of the so-called "screamers" howl again and take the spectators back to the "Screamer Era" with their spectacular performance.
Historic Formula Vau Europe
Visions also began with "V" in the 60s and 70s: Because Formula Vau was the answer to the question of low-cost motorsport with monoposto racing cars back then. With VW technology, the small racers made their triumphal march from the USA to Europe and around the world - not least thanks to the great commitment of Ferry Porsche and his legendary racing manager Huschke von Hanstein.
DTM/DRM Revival
A long tradition continues: the German Racing Championship (DRM) made a guest appearance at the legendary event in the Eifel back in 1972. Later, the German Touring Car Championship (DTM) followed in its footsteps - almost always at the Eifel race. Motorsport fans can look forward to the Zakspeed Capri as well as the BMW 2002, the Schnitzer and Alpina cars or the Kremer Porsches, which were involved in fierce duels at the time.
3rd Porsche Kremer Night of Legends
When dusk falls over the Eifel on Saturday evening, the Nürburgring is far from quiet - on the contrary: around 50 racing and sports cars from the successful history of Kremer Racing Cologne turn night into day. Goosebumps are guaranteed.
Elephant race (with classic Le Mans start)
It has now become a tradition for the illustrious field of cars on Sunday, with such illustrious names as Mercedes SSK, Bentley Blower, Aston Martin, Invicta, Lagonda and Delahaye, to make the hearts of vintage fans beat faster. Of course, the start will be the classic Le Mans start. This means that the drivers' physical fitness will be challenged before the "elephants" shake the Eifel.
Mercedes Benz Classic
The main partner of the ADAC Eifel Race for the Jan Wellem Cup will once again be showing some highlights from its large collection of legendary vehicles from the history of motorsport. And, of course, famous racing drivers who have won victories worldwide with Mercedes Benz racing cars will not only show the fans the historic vehicles in action on the track, but will also be available to sign autographs.
