The online auction house Catawiki is now widely known and its regular classic car auctions attract a lot of interest. However, anyone who thinks that Catawiki's approach is primarily aimed at cheap classic cars is wrong. Catawiki also regularly organizes auctions of high-quality vintage and classic cars.
Another one is currently running until June 21, 2020, and a look at the vehicles on offer shows that top-class cars are on offer here.
Granturismo trio with charm
Among other things, three classic Italian Granturismo sports cars from one collection are coming under the virtual hammer.
First of all, there is a red Ferrari 330 GT 2+2 from 1966, originally registered in the USA like many cars of this model series, now in Spain with 96,227 km on the clock. The Catawiki specialists give an estimated value of EUR 325,000 to EUR 360,000.
Or how about a white Ferrari 250 GT 2+2 from 1962 in good condition. Enzo Ferrari himself enjoyed driving his 250 GT 2+2 and the prices are still bearable compared to other 250 models, although the estimated value of EUR 407,000 to 450,000 is certainly not low.
If you prefer a trident to a horse on the radiator grille, you could go for the Maserati 3500 GT from 1961, originally delivered to America, now in good condition in Spain waiting for a new owner. Estimated at EUR 231,000 to 255,000, the current highest bid is significantly lower.
15 other classics
If you are not necessarily looking for Italian sports cars, perhaps you will find your dream car among the remaining 15 cars? Whether Bentley R-Type, Chevrolet Corvette, Mercedes-Benz 190 SL or Jaguar E-Type, it may be worth taking a look at what is on offer.
You can find out more about the individual classic cars and the auction on the Catawiki website.
