Being part of an internationally acclaimed exhibition with your own car sounds great!
The new special exhibition "Fascination Tuning - VW vs. Opel" at the Technik Museen Sinsheim Speyer makes this possible. Whether it's a Golf GTI with individual paintwork or in its original condition, a pimped-up or faithful Opel Kadett/Astra GT/E, GSI or OPC or another spectacular VW or Opel model: the museums are on the lookout for vehicles that represent the diversity and creativity of the Volkswagen and Opel tuning scene.
Vehicle owners can apply online, a selection of applicants will be invited to Sinsheim for a live CARsting on April 14, 2024 and, with a little luck, will be part of the special exhibition opening in fall 2024.
"The guiding principle of our museums is "for fans by fans". Without our members, visitors and fans, we wouldn't be here today. Car and tuning enthusiasts form a significant part of this community. For this reason, we are calling on all tuning enthusiasts to become part of the upcoming special exhibition," says Andreas Hemmer, the museum director. Following a successful application, the selected vehicles will come together at CARsting on April 14, 2024 in Sinsheim. On this day, an experienced jury will decide which VW and Opel vehicles will become part of the new special exhibition.
On 3,000 square meters, the new show aims to illuminate the vibrant world of automotive tuning through the lens of the rivalry between Volkswagen and Opel. Visitors will find themselves in the world of automotive individualism and learn how Volkswagen and Opel have significantly influenced the tuning scene. An impressive collection of individually designed vehicles will be presented, reflecting the creative and technological evolution of tuning.
The Technik Museum Sinsheim is looking for individually designed Volkswagen and Opel vehicles that represent the creativity and diversity of the tuning scene.
