For over ten years, a supra-regional meeting of cars with plastic bodies has been taking place in Switzerland under the name "Fantastic Plastic". The first editions were organized in the Lucerne area, and since 2019 the meeting has been held in Hinterthurgau in Rickenbach, not far from Wil St. Gallen.
All cars equipped with a plastic body are welcome. The spectrum ranges from the Alpine A110 to the Zagato Zele.
Cars from Chevrolet (Corvette), Matra, Marcos, Ginetta, Lotus, TVR and of course the VW-based buggies are usually to be found in large numbers at the one-day meeting, which is independent of brand.
But the variety is much greater: after all, AC, Ferrari, Porsche and Renault have also built sporty vehicles with plastic bodies.
The 2024 meeting will be organized on 23 June 2023 in the parking lot of the Coop-Center Rickenbach/TG
Admission is free and catering is provided. Every participant is an enrichment! There is enough space available.
