The FIVA has launched a classic car study on the social and economic importance of historic vehicles in 15 EU countries.
The data obtained from this representative survey is intended to enable FIVA to represent the interests of the classic car scene in a well-founded and sustainable manner.
Owners, companies and classic car clubs
The internet survey is aimed at the following three target groups:
- Owners of historic vehicles (in Germany)
- Companies that deal with historic vehicles, e.g. restoration companies, dealers, insurance companies, event organizers, workshops, etc.
- Classic car clubs

The survey is conducted and supervised by GfK, a renowned international market research institute. This ensures compliance with all anonymity and data protection standards. Participation is open until June 2, 2014, as previously announced.
No successful policy without data transparency
In order to better represent the interests of classic car owners and drivers to the institutions of the European Union (such as the European Parliament) and the politicians of the individual countries, precise data on the importance of classic cars in society and their significance for the economy is required.
