Four weeks ago, the 2020 global classic car survey was launched by the Fédération Internationale des Véhicules Anciens (FIVA).
Around 25,000 classic and vintage car enthusiasts worldwide have already taken part. The countries with the largest participation are currently France, Belgium, Germany, the Netherlands and Sweden. Participation in the survey is also currently growing strongly outside Europe. Last week, the number of available languages was increased from 15 to 20.
As some countries have only recently been able to start communicating the survey, the closing date for participation has been extended to October 31.
Aiming for a well-founded, global database
By taking part in the survey, all classic car and youngtimer fans can help to build up a well-founded global database.
This is enormously helpful for the work in the commissions and as an argumentation aid towards authorities, politics and legislation. FIVA last conducted an international study in 2014, which is why a renewal of the database is necessary and very important for the successful representation of interests.
The study addresses a total of three target groups.
- Owners of classic and/or vintage vehicles
- Classic and classic car clubs (in preparation)
- "Professionals" (commercial companies, workshops, museums, restoration companies, dealers, etc.) (in preparation)
Click here to go directly to the survey if you have not yet taken part. Simply select the language (German flag) and answer the questions. It only takes a few minutes.
