Anyone who owns a VW that is at least 30 years old, enjoys any VW model and likes to be among like-minded people should not miss the VW veterans' meeting in Bad Camberg! Together with the VW veterans' meeting in Hessisch Oldendorf, it is the largest VW meeting in Germany.
The meeting takes place every four years and this year it's time again: from June 19 to 21, 2015, countless VW enthusiasts will once again meet in the small town of Bad Camberg west of Hesse.
Who is admitted?
The following original vehicles - also with contemporary tuning and/or conversion - that would receive German TÜV and German H license plate approval are permitted:
- Pretzel and Oval Beetles
- Type 2 up to production date 28.02.1955 and chassis no. 20 - 117901
- Type 128 and 166 VW Schwimmwagen
- Type 82 VW Kübelwagen 1940-1945
- Karmann Ghia from 1955 until the model change in August 1959 (1st series)
- Special bodies and superstructures
Around 230 registrations have been received so far, with participants coming from 17 different countries! For example, two participants are traveling from Denmark, others are coming from Indonesia or Finland and there are also VW owners from the USA who are keen to travel and are coming all the way to Germany.

The special bodies and superstructures are a particularly exciting category of participants.
Whether it's a Beutler-VW, an Enzmann 506 or any other exotic small series production, they are always admired.
Petermax Müller race to Bad Camberg
On June 18, 2015, the Thursday before the big meeting, the Petermax Müller Memorial Race will take place, which this year leads from the Grundmann Museum in Hessisch Oldendorf to Bad Camberg. The two small towns host the two largest VW meetings in Germany every four years.
The race once started as a joke, but now it is a fixed date for VW fans from all over. Since many of them come from far away, they wanted to bring some momentum to the big trip and organized a small meeting one day before the big meeting in Hessisch Oldendorf or in Bad Camberg to relax, have fun and enjoy some more time together.
The first time the "race" led from the BBT Open House Party to Bad Camberg, the next time the VW enthusiasts met at the Prototype Museum in Hamburg to then drive together to Hessisch Oldendorf and this year the drive leads from Hessisch Oldendorf to Bad Camberg.
Anyone who would like to attend the VW veterans' meeting in Bad Camberg can register using the registration form. The number of participants is limited to a maximum of 300 - so there are not many places left and the entry fee per vehicle is 60 euros.
