10 years of the Oldtimer Center Eastern Switzerland and Goodtimer in its 20th year of operation is the occasion for St. Gallen founder and owner Marcel A. Widler to hold the first public classic car auction in Eastern Switzerland.
"By entering the auction business, we want to offer classic car enthusiasts the opportunity to expand or reduce their existing collections. And anyone who wants to purchase a classic car for the first time has the opportunity to easily buy their dream classic car at auction from a large selection with the support of a specialist company," says Widler on the expansion of his range of services.
Goodtimer is the largest provider of classic cars in Eastern Switzerland and is one of the most comprehensive classic car specialists in Switzerland. In cooperation with the "autobau erlebniswelt" in Romanshorn and the "Ampera-house" in Schaan, three auctions with three different vehicle categories are offered every year.
On Saturday, April 29, the premiere will take place at 4 p.m. at the Oldtimer Center at Hauptstrasse 23 in St. Margrethen, accompanied by a wine tasting and champagne risotto.
Registration for the auction takes place online. If you have never been to an auction before and would like to find out more, you can register for the free information and preview evening on Thursday, April 27 from 18:00. The auction items can already be viewed from Monday, April 24. The catalog can be viewed directly online.
Open days
On the weekend of April 29 and 30, the halls of the Oldtimer Zentrum Ostschweiz will be open to everyone. And if you would like to take a cab ride in a Classic Mini Cabriolet, Morgan Roadster or Citroen DS Semi-Cabriolet, you can register for a free Sunday drive.
