Several times a year, the "autobau erlebniswelt" organizes a so-called "roll out", during which cars from the car collection are presented in detail and then driven on the circuit in front of the museum.
On the day of the event, the technology feature for interested visitors begins in the Supersport Gallery directly in front of the entrance gate to the exhibition hall.
The autobau erlebniswelt team is on hand to answer questions about the selected car. All the hoods and doors are opened and visitors are allowed to inspect, photograph, film and even sit in the car. The winners for the rides are then drawn by lot and immediately afterwards the door is opened and the car is pushed out together.
Now the engine is finally started and finally it's off onto the circuit (only on dry roads)!
On August 13, 2025, the Bugatti 51 from the year 1931 took place. This is one of the most interesting cars in the collection. The Grand Prix Bugatti took part in many races in the 1930s and produced around 180 hp, which had little trouble with its 750 kg weight. Eight cylinders in series with two overhead camshafts and a supercharger deliver the power, which is transmitted to the rear axle via a four-speed sliding gearbox.
The sound of the eight-cylinder engine is impressive, as is its performance. You shouldn't miss this and be there in Romanshorn on August 13, 2025!
