The new dates for the Dolder Classics have been announced - on May 14, June 11, August 13 and September 11, 2017, from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. in each case at the Oerlikon Open Racecourse.
Since 2011, the Dolder Classics team has managed to organize four classic car meetings in Zurich every year from May to September. Next year, too, you can roll up in your classic car on the second Sunday of each month. However, it is not possible to reserve a place. That means: first in, first served! As long as there is enough space, all vehicles built in 1987 or earlier are welcome in 2017.
For the first time in the history of the event, the 2017 gathering will not take place at the Dolder artificial ice rink in Zurich. This is because it is being renovated and will hopefully be available again in 2018. Until then, however, Christoph Lehmann and his team have found a suitable alternative at the concrete Velorennbahn in Zurich-Oerlikon. It will be interesting to see what the special ambience will be like when hundreds of classic cars pull up.
