From 1973 to 1986, Blaupunkt developed and produced the world-famous omnidirectional loudspeakers that were an integral part of the Golf 1, AUDI 100, Ford Capri and Opel Manta. The BLAUPUNKT LAZ 6525, with a peak output of 10 watts, was one of the most popular surface-mounted loudspeakers for vehicles at the time. More than 40 years later, it is now back as a "Globe Speaker" to experience the real sound of the era in classic and modern cars.
Classic design, modern technology
The "look and feel" have remained the same and, in combination with the latest technology, ensure stylish audio entertainment: the 3.5-inch full-range speaker delivers 55 watts at maximum power and generates a sound pressure level of up to 88 decibels. The rated load capacity is 25 watts with an impedance of 4 ohms. The frequency range between 100 and 20,000 ensures a good sound. A stable swivel base allows the speaker to be rotated to the most favorable listening position.
For a recommended retail price of 39 euros each, customers can obtain a spherical speaker in a vintage jewelry box from well-stocked specialist retailers or on the Blaupunkt website. A drilling template and screws are also included.
