40 years of DTM means 570 races and 25 champions. As part of the special show "40 Years of DTM", Retro Classics Bavaria will present a colorful cross-section of DTM racing cars from the past to the present from December 6 to 8, 2024.
Racing cars almost like from a car dealership
When the racing cars didn't look much different from what you could marvel at in a car dealership or in your garage at home, the foundations were laid for one of the most successful racing series ever - the German Touring Car Championship, or DTM for short, was officially launched in 1984 and still exists today.
At its debut, no fewer than 16 different vehicle types were on the grid. The DTM has always been a venue for big names: Stuck, Röhrl, Schneider, Asch, van Ommen, Cecotto, Winkelhock & Co. entered their names in the winners' lists and were always good for a spectacle.
Tuning show goes into the second round
As a result of the great public response to last year's Retro Classics Bavaria, the special show "Lower, wider, faster - the tuning icons of the 80s and 90s" is going into its next round and will also show in December 2024 how colorful and flashy the tuning scene once was and what unique pieces it has produced.
