From September 6 to 8, 2019, a very special Concours d'Elegance will take place in the courtyard of Gut Kaltenbrunn on Lake Tegernsee. One of the special details of the event should not be withheld from you, dear reader: The patron of the event will be none other than Prince Leopold of Bavaria himself.
Requirements for the participation permit
The competition, which is now in its 16th year, will once again be overseen by international FIVA judges. Entries will be carefully selected and participants will then be presented with an exclusive selection of 60 cars. Early registration is therefore recommended. It is important to note that only automobiles built between 1886 and 1969 will be included in the selection.
No less exclusive supporting program
In addition to these exclusive automobiles, the Concours naturally also offers a no less exclusive supporting program. Guests will be treated to top-class culinary delights by the high-class restaurateur Michael Käfer as well as top-class music by the band "Da Capo Music". These two amenities, together with the classic cars and the view of Lake Tegernsee, offer an unforgettable experience for the participating guests.
The supporting program in detail
September 6, 2019:
Bavarian evening including catering and traditional alpine music. Their boundless enthusiasm and traditional costumes are the hallmark of the Tegernsee Tanzmusl.
September 7, 2019:
This evening is under the care of high-end restaurateur Michael Käfer. Guests will be welcomed with sparkling wine as an introduction before continuing with a 3-course gourmet dinner. The evening will be rounded off with music from the party band "Da Capo Music" and a romantic sunset over Lake Tegernsee.
Special additional program
As a special add-on, the organizer offers an inventory of the condition of your vehicle. However, this alone does not make this additional program special or exclusive. The special feature is that a thermal image of the interior of your vehicle is created, which can then be used to identify hidden faults and damage. The technology used for the images has already been established in the aerospace industry and the whole procedure is contactless and therefore scratch-free. Please note that you must register for this procedure before the start of the event.
Further information on the event can be found on the Tegernsee-Concours website.
