Gently caress the paintwork and chrome with your fingers, feel the smell of petrol and oil in your nose and talk shop with like-minded people - all this will be possible again next year at the 21st edition of the Bremen Classic Motorshow. It will take place from Friday to Sunday, February 3 to 5, 2023, at Messe Bremen and traditionally marks the start of the classic car season in Germany.
Over three days, around 45,000 visitors will find everything they need to know about classic and vintage cars on over 52,000 square meters of exhibition space in eight halls.
Pandemic caesura
The trade fair for classic cars and young classics on two and four wheels had to take a break for two years due to the pandemic. "Now we're all scrabbling around and want to bring the scene back to Bremen," says Frank Ruge, Project Manager of the Bremen Classic Motorshow. His team is currently working flat out on the special shows, the trade platforms and the classic car show's new YouTube channel.
Online events as a consolation
The Bremen organizers used the corona-related break to innovate: they put on two online events lasting several hours. "Several tens of thousands of people watched them. And the feedback was great," says Ruge. "But the Bremen Classic Motorshow thrives on personal interaction, on seeing, hearing and feeling. This is only possible on site with everyone together."
It will be that time again next year. The third decade of the Bremen Classic Motorshow begins.
