Despite the countless cancellations in the classic car calendar, the Bernina Gran Turismo was held with great success in September 2020. The extra effort required due to the coronavirus was well worth it, as it was one of the most successful editions of this mountain race, which has been a tradition for several years now! The fantastic weather also helped in 2020.
A comprehensive report was of course published on zwischengas at the time.
Some of the pandemic-related innovations were actually very well received, e.g. the vehicles lined up in the park in front of the Kempinski Hotel on Friday. This should possibly be retained.
Date already set for 2021
The Bernina Gran Turismo will be held again on September 16-19, 2021, hopefully with the popular evening event at the legendary La Rösa!
The new registration forms are now available online on the Bernina Gran Turismo homepage. As some entries had to be postponed to 2021 due to travel restrictions, there are already some advance reservations. And the starting places are coveted and rare!
