From June 12 to 14, 2026, Automobilia Ladenburg is once again inviting collectors, enthusiasts and experts to one of the most important automobile auctions in Europe. In the historic ambience of the Dr. Carl Benz Automobile Museum in Ladenburg, visitors can expect a varied auction weekend with high-quality collector's items from over a century of mobility history.
The classic hall auction will take place on Friday, June 12, 2026 from 12 noon and on Saturday, June 13, 2026 from 10 am. An international online-only auction will follow on Sunday, June 14, 2026 from 2 pm to 5 pm.
An important focus is the Ferrari N.A.R.T. Archive (Luigi Chinetti), which includes rare documents, photographs and individual items. These items offer an extraordinary insight into the connection between Ferrari and the North American Racing Team.
Among the outstanding individual pieces is also the challenge cup of the 1926-1933 Reims Grand Prix, immortalized with the names of the winners of this prestigious race - including Philippe Étancelin, Tazio Nuvolari, Louis Chiron, Rene Dreyfus... Also on offer is Michael Schumacher's Ferrari World Championship driver's seat from 2004 - an emotional and authentic object from recent Formula 1 history.
The second major focus is on several important bicycle collections with historic racing, track and touring bikes as well as numerous cycling memorabilia. The bikes on offer cover a period from the late 1890s to the 2000s. The selection ranges from early Opel bicycles and rare ZR-III racing and track bike models to an early Opel motorcycle from 1919 and professional team bikes from ONCE and Banesto from the great era of international professional cycling. Special highlights include a Bianchi racing bike from 1947 with reference to Fausto Coppi as well as bikes from the world of Miguel Indurain, Melcior Mauri and Igor González de Galdeano. This section is complemented by numerous original cycling jerseys, signed rider cards, photographs and other memorabilia from the history of European cycling.
Another special feature of the auction is the special section "100 Years of Mercedes-Benz", which is represented by over 200 lots in the catalog and includes numerous collector's items relating to the history of one of the world's most important automobile brands.
In addition to these focal points, the auction includes numerous other rarities from the fields of automobilia, spare parts, literature, documents, photographs, posters, models, emblems, accessories and classic motorcycles. The auction also includes objects from the estates of important racing drivers from the pre- and post-war era, including Hans-Hugo Hartmann and Joakim Bonnier.
