Auto e Moto d'Epoca returns to Bologna in 2026, reaffirming its status as a must-attend event for anyone who loves classic cars and motorcycles, collector culture, and motorsports history. The scale speaks for itself: over 235,000 square meters of exhibition space, 14 halls, more than 5,000 vehicles, and exhibitors and enthusiasts from 40 countries. The market, automotive history, technical expertise, and passion all come together here under one roof.
Four Themed Trails
The show is divided into four sections: Dealers and Restorers, Motorcycles, “Between Culture and Passion,” and Spare Parts, Model Building, and Automobilia. This allows visitors to explore the scene from a wide variety of perspectives—from the search for the dream car to the work of clubs and museums to the vast universe of memorabilia.
Icons of Speed: An Eternity of Endurance Racing
At the heart of the 2026 issue is “Icons of Speed.” This special feature brings more than fifty years of endurance racing to life, from the great classics at Le Mans, the Nürburgring, Monza, and Daytona to today’s FIA World Endurance Championship. The focus is on vehicles built for extreme conditions that tested technical solutions which would later shape production car development.
Twelve examples welcome visitors in the entrance hall on Via Costituzione, with others scattered throughout the grounds. Highlights include:
Bentley EXP Speed 8: Third place at Le Mans 2001
Sauber C9: Winner of the World Sportscar Championship and the 1989 24 Hours of Le Mans
Porsche 956 “Rothmans”: An icon of the Group C era
These three are on loan from the National Automobile Museum, The Loh Collection. Rounding out the lineup are the Lancia LC2, the Maserati MC12 Corsa, the one-off Bugatti EB110 Le Mans, and a Porsche 917 in the legendary Gulf livery.
From Group C to Group B
Motorsports isn’t limited to endurance racing: In collaboration with Rallylegend, Group B cars—those spectacular rally machines that defined one of the sport’s wildest eras—will have their own section.
New Names, New Partnerships
Gallery Aaldering is making its debut in Bologna. The renowned dealer is bringing a Ferrari 250 GT Lusso, an AC Ace Bristol, a Lamborghini Miura P400 S, and a Mercedes-Benz 300 SL.
Another new development is the partnership with MECC, the organizer of InterClassics Brussels and Maastricht. Their exhibitors will be featured in a dedicated area in Bologna, while Auto e Moto d’Epoca will, in turn, make a guest appearance in Brussels.
Corvettes, Watches, and the Market
On October 25, European Corvette Day, Italy is on the program, organized in collaboration with the National Corvette Museum (Kentucky) and the CNO American Motors Club, featuring models ranging from the first C1 (1953) to the current C8. Also returning is “Time on Show” for rare vintage and collector’s watches.
The focus remains on the market and the passion for collecting: at the dealers’ and restorers’ booths, “youngtimers” from the 1980s and 1990s will be featured alongside all kinds of items for sale, with the Italian associations ACI and ASI also in attendance. Finally, the Spare Parts, Model Cars, and Automobilia section tells the story of automotive history in detail, from model cars to license plates to ignition distributors.
